Artist Bio: Both Sandy Wehrbin and Omaha Painter, Eleanor
Bross, have close connection to their German heritage.
Statement: Sandy’s rendition of the “Tracht” or dancing
costume is used in the Bavarian Tradition of Southern Germany. It’s
similar to the brightly colored dresses used by “Heimat Tankers”, of
Homeland Dancers
