traces the history of the Platte River
Road from the Oregon Trails days, to the
first transcontinental highway, and

Inside the ARCHWAY - Trails

The frist major
exhibits in the Arch is on the trails west -
Oregon, 49er, and the Mormons. Above is
Mormon expedition rescue and At left some
poineers crossing Utah are lighten their load

Inside the ARCHWAY - Early
Transportion

This stagecoarch
is on the far end of the archway, after passing the
Pony Expess / telegraph office and Iron horse
display.

Just up the stair, this is a "campsite" on the
nation frist
transcontinental highway road, the "Lincoln
Highway". My friend Scott, are listening to this
exhibit audio on a wireless headsit. before leaving
archway, you go past the Drive-in
movie and check speed of intestate traffic
below the arch
